End Of Decade

Let us recap the journey we took during the last 10 years.

2000

Oh yes, the Y2K scare. Luckily it never happened though. That time, they were launching the Pustaka Negeri and had a large event, with fireworks and stuff. What made me remember it? I was stuck at home, my stomach was sick that time.

I was still living in SMK TAHO's apartment back then. Also my first time skipping fast during my adult years. End of that year, we moved to our current house.

 

2001

I was in Form 3 then. We had the independence competition going on. I had my PMR this year. Also, was in the TV and newspaper when picking up the result. Front page no least.

 

2002

Form 4. Ah sweet year. Sudah tahu bercinta, albeit sucked at it. Became the school magazine committee. Did not had the final year holiday because we were at school completing the magazine. Became impromptu tour guide for visiting students from SMAKL.

 

2003

Senior year. Haha. SPM.  Tuition. Struggle gila for additional mathematics. Main-main for Chemistry. No study at all for BAT. Guess which one I scored well. Frankly I don’t remember if we had a proper farewell party for 5B.

 

2004

UTP. The beginning of suffering, so to say. Not after I spent 8 months at home  doing nothing. Foundation year was fun.

 

2005

Sudah pandai main-main belajar. Pretty shitty result that year. Went to Langkawi for the first time. Terlekat dengan seorang gadis. Pindah rumah baru di UTP.

 

2006

Sudah rapat dengan gadis itu. Semakin malas belajar. Gagal satu matapelajaran. Went to Kelantan I think. Or Terengganu. Civilians memang selalu kelua, sbb itu course lain dengki.

 

2007

Sudah mula sedar, tetapi sudah terlambat. Mula belajar rajin2. Pergi library. Hidup semakin fun di UTP. Pergi east coast lagi. Ada ETP, rapat dengan org yg b4 this tak kenal langsung. Ready for internship.

 

2008

Practical setengah tahun di JPS Sarawak. Met a cute girl, too bad she’s taken. Ahha. Had a new roommate at UTP. Sudah pandai bercinta, tapi sucked at it. Dapat lesen driving. FYP1.

 

2009

Senior year. Tahun yg rilek. Finish study. Berpisah ngan kawan2. Jadi cikgu kat SSK. Convo, dapat degree. First time makan gaji hasil peluh sendiri. Well worth it.
